Smiling Pasta
I think I like the series so much because the leading female character reminds me of one of my cousins. You may not think girls with such cute and funny outwardly behaviour and expressions exist outside of comedy, but they do. My cousin has a more "carrot-y" hair colour compared to the "tomato-ey"colour of the actress though. The leading male character is very cute and yummy too.
I do love kawaii stuff. I wish more people pictured love and life so optimistically. I really cannot understand why so many are very fixated on tragic stuff, e.g. tragic romance. As if all love stories need to be full of pain and suffering to qualify as good love stories.
Believe what you will. Life is already pretty tough. If love is going to make things tougher (as if I will dress myself in red and jump of the tallest building after reciting a poem to do with not being able to unite with my 'true' love... ahem, yeah right), I would just as well say... "SOD IT! You can keep it!"
There are many philosophical thoughts and ideas about this thing called love. As you may expect, being me, I have my own thoughts and ideas. They revolve around the theme of "Let's keep things simple and happy". Why complicate such a fundamental thing?
Is being complicated better than being simple? Not for me. I enjoy the simple things in life.
N.B. I think people just want to make things sound so difficult and complicated to justify why their not doing so well in some aspects. This is perhaps something akin to people who are doing miserably in university telling secondary school students that getting through university is really awfully difficult and complicated. When the juniors progress to university, those who do well will see that it is not as bad as what their seniors have told them, whereas those who cannot cope will remember their seniors' words and feel justified in failing.
