FIFA World Cup 2006

Events in the Quarter-Finals seem really contrary to some popular opinions.

Brazil out? Argentina out? Hmm... France and Germany both did well.

Italy winning? That one, I predicted.

Portugal winning over England. They were, to me, of equal standing. Both in the "Good Teams" league but not the "Great Teams" league. There had to be a winner. The outcome was a slight bit of shame for me because I did not appreciate the rough play the Portugese players have been exhibiting in the matches so far. One wonders if more yellow and red cards will be displayed in their subsequent matches. Anyway, they have a great coach and there may be many things in store.

We'll see how the four remaining European teams fight it out. It's starting to look like EuroCup now.

To repeat and emphasise what FIFA World Cup 2006 is promoting...

"SAY NO TO RACISM"
