Mum's in town
Mum's in town since Friday afternoon... en route to our hometown to see our relatives and settle a few things. She stopped over and I enjoyed her company and the home-y feeling.
Mum's the best! She didn't reprimand me as much this time round for the state of the condo because I arrived at home after work to see her a bit after 9pm on Friday. I was probably not in my best state (I didn't feel too bad... happy it was Friday and knew dear mum was waiting at home, but maybe looked otherwise) since I was doing OT almost continuously for 3 weeks and around rather stressed people. It will be so most likely till the end of the year... or at least till our new recruits finish their training (fingers crossed for speed) and can help us relieve some of the load.
Back to Mum. Well, we had a nice time this weekend and did some shopping together. She was obviously concerned that I have not been eating properly and did not have time to take care of myself. We went out to eat some real food, and she even ordered some double-boiled ginseng soup and allowed me to finish most of it (very nice change to instant noodles of various flavours). She was going to buy some herbs to make some tonic soup for me but I told her it was not necessary since she was rushing off today (Sunday) around noon. Since she is going to come by and stop over for a few days again next week, she could do it then.
Mothers are the best! Anyone who cares to argue can comment and we can have a lively debate about it.
OK, I'd better go see what I can do to help her get ready for the trip.

Hey flowerweed, you have a great blog here. Mum's in town caught my eye and I thought I would put a post on it. I'm looking for help.
The site I have is a home based business site. Its all about, need I say it, working from home. I think people should have the choice to build their own income instead of somebody else’s. Freedom of well being and all of that...anyway I was on your site looking for ways to help my business. I'm really looking for ways of building better rapport between recruits.
Anyways flowerweed thanks for the great blog. I'll just have to carry on my search till I find what I'm looking for. Take care.
